Claudia is a senior from Lafayette, Indiana pursuing a degree in Sociology with a minor in Chemistry and Spanish for the Professions.
Outside of serving as a member of the Scholarship Committee for the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board, she is involved in a variety of areas on campus. She is heavily involved in Student Organ Donation Advocacy where she serves as the President, College of Liberal Arts Deans Ambassadors as the Secretary, the Honors Mentor Program, and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Additionally, she does undergraduate research with Cardiovascular Imaging Research Laboratory (CVIRL) in BME, Tutors for Purdue Athletics, and is a Medical Scribe. Previously, she was also on the Honors Mentor Program Council- Event Planning Committee, Medical Spanish Club, HEAL generator, and a Teaching Assistant for HONR Climate Crisis Summer course for high school students.
Following graduation, Claudia will be heading to IU School of Medicine, planning to become a doctor and certified medical interpreter for Spanish.

A fun fact about Claudia is that she will be going on a cruise around the mediterranean after graduation in May!
