Major: Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering

Bobby is a senior from Berwyn Pennsylvania studying Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

 

He is involved in the Purdue Engineering Student Council which hosts a variety of events from engineering outreach to some of the nation's largest student-run career fairs. He is a College of Engineering Ambassador serving to expand alumni-donors and industry relations. As an ambassador, he serves as a resource for the needs of the College of Engineering and the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Bobby is an undergraduate researcher in the Meyer Research group at Zucrow Labs. He supports various test campaigns to characterize Rotating Detonation Engines which are more efficient combustors with the potential to replace existing rocket and jet engines. He will be continuing research as a graduate AAE student. Bobby has worked at Lockheed Martin as a software systems engineer supporting defense technologies. Most recently, he worked at SpaceX supporting the Crew Dragon Propulsion team responsible for critical flight hardware on the propulsion system that transports crew and cargo to the ISS.

 

In the future, he hopes to complete substantial research in the realm of RDEs and hypersonics and translate his experience to the aerospace industry.
